Frank Mecklenburg: Thirty years in the Third World
July 22, 2016When Frank Mecklenburg and his wife were newlyweds, they went halfway around the world to the island of New Guinea, where they had no running water and didn’t know the language. They created a way of transcribing the language, translated the Bible, and stayed for 30 years.
What makes a Christian couple begin to keep Shabbat? Why would a retired pastor convert and move to Israel? How does a 77-year-old new Oleh connect to the Land of Israel? What was the best part of authoring a book about the people of Samaria.
Tune in to meet Frank, the author of the book The Face of Samaria, as he takes us on a stroll through his life’s journey.
