The brutal Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist organization continues its campaign of propaganda videos, calling on Muslims to come from around the world to Iraq and Syria where they have seized large tracts of territory, and to guard and expand the “caliphate.”
In the new video, which has since been removed by YouTube, a “shahid” (martyr) referred to as Abu Muaz is featured who came to join ISIS from Egypt.
Abu Muaz spoke in Arabic at length about the religious obligation on every Muslim to follow the path of Mohammed, who is said to have left the place of “heresy” in Mecca and moved to the city of Medina, where he organized his military force to spread his newly invented Islamic doctrine.
Drawing a comparison, Abu Muaz called on Muslims worldwide not to remain in “heretical” countries, but rather to return to Islam and the Koran, and to follow in Mohammed’s path of jihad to implement sharia Islamic law in this world and enjoy eternal life in the world to come.
According to the Egyptian jihadist, there is no other path than either “victory” or falling on the “way of Allah.”
ISIS’s propaganda videos have recently expanded their audience to call for elderly Muslims as well, having them come to serve in patrol units, and likewise the group has made a concentrated effort to recruit western jihadists.
That effort has seen great success, with recent research showing support for ISIS in the UK and France is higher than in the Arab states of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon.
Scotland Yard figures revealed 5 Britons join ISIS every week, and so far over 500 total have joined the group. In France, security officials recently revealed over 1,000 citizens have joined ISIS, including a recent batch of 100 girls and women that included a “handful” of Jewish girls – one of the girls was exposed to have tried to blow up her parents’ store.
The propaganda has already reached Israel too, where at least 30 Arab citizens have left to join ISIS.
