Three IDF soldiers were wounded in a believed car attack in Gush Etzion on Wednesday afternoon.

A police statement read: “An Israeli vehicle at Gush Etzion Junction struck a military vehicle at Neve Daniel Junction, causing it to flip over. Three passengers in the military vehicle were lightly injured, and a Palestinian man in the Israeli vehicle was severely injured.

“According to a preliminary investigation, it is believed that the Palestinian intentionally struck the military vehicle. The incident is classified as a suspected attack.”

The soldiers are receiving medical treatment at the scene, while the Arab man has been evacuated to a hospital.

Route 60 is currently closed from Neve Daniel towards Gush Etzion Junction.
