Michal Froman, who was stabbed by a terrorist in the Judean community of Tekoa Monday, was discharged from Shaare Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem on Thursday. Froman, 30, who is pregnant, was stabbed behind her right shoulder but is well on her way to full recovery.

Froman is the daughter-in-law of the late Rabbi Menahem Froman, who was a staunch believer in the possibility of peaceful coexistence between Jews and Muslims, and her initial reaction to her stabbing raised some eyebrows, after she said that she “felt close” to her attacker.

In an interview on Channel 20 as she left the hospital, she was asked if her experience has caused her to change her views on coexistence. She responded affirmatively and noted that there many Arabs in Shaare Tzedek, both staff and patients, and that she felt scared of them.

Rebbetzin Hadassah Froman, Michal’s mother-in-law, called for the expulsion of the terrorist’s family.

“I am actually very close to the world of the Palestinians,” she told Arutz Sheva. “Every day I’m in contact with activists on the Palestinian side and with people who want this situation to become a sane one and want coexistence.”

“Precisely because of that, we need to be very clear and to the subject,” Froman stressed.

“From my familiarity with the situation on the ground, it is very clear to me that until the families of terrorists are expelled from here to Gaza, [the terror] will not stop,” Froman asserted. “There are things that foment [terror] in the area and there are things that can block it.”
