A new poll continues to show Likud falling behind Labor and Hatnua’s “Zionist Camp” a week before elections, with the distance between the two remaining at 21 seats to Likud and 24 to Labor.

The poll, which was conducted by the Maagar Mochot Institute for the haredi radio station Kol Barama, confirms findings by several recent polls in the last several days showing Likud trailing by 21 to 24. However it is estimated that Likud has a better chance of forming a coalition, and therefore may be given the nod to try creating a government first even if it falls behind Labor.

Following the two parties the scrum for third continues to be up for grabs, with former allies in building the last coalition Yesh Atid and Jewish Home tying for 13, trailed closely by the joint Arab list at 12.

Moshe Kahlon’s Kulanu comes next at eight, followed by Shas and United Torah Judaism at eight apiece.

Meretz and Yisrael Beytenu each get five seats, as does Yachad – Ha’am Itanu’s joint list with Otzma Yehudit, a stronger showing than the result of four mandates Yachad has been generally receiving.

The survey included 1,004 respondents.
