Stabbing Victim Heals as Police Manhunt Continues

November 17, 2014

The 35-year-old Breslov hassid who was stabbed by an Arab terrorist in Jerusalem on Sunday continues to heal, and on Monday he was said to be in good condition at Shaare Tzedek Hospital in the capital.

At the time he was hospitalized imaging tests were conducted which indicate that he was not critically wounded, despite being stabbed in the back with a screwdriver by an Arab terrorist said to be around the age of 32.

The victim has been kept under observation while defined as having light to moderate wounds at the hospital, where Yehuda Glick and two victims of the lethal car attack on November 5 in Jerusalem are also being treated.

Glick has made an incredible recovery after being shot four times at close range by an Arab terrorist, while the other two remain in critical condition.

Police continue in their search for the stabber of the hassid, who after committing the attack fled in the direction of the Damascus Gate of the Old City.

Police have already set up roadblocks to aid their attempts to locate the terrorist, and continue their efforts of scouring the area.

A short time after the attack on Sunday, Hamas’s Al-Aqsa TV played a message from the terrorist group welcoming the attack and calling it a “natural reaction to the occupation crimes.”

The attack comes as part of a recent string of Arab terrorism sweeping Israel and Jerusalem in particular, with six Israelis murdered and dozens others wounded by attacks over the course of this month so far.

Just last Monday two lethal stabbing attacks occurred, the first attack consisting of an Arab terrorist stabbing 20-year-old IDF soldier Almog Shiloni hy”d to death in Tel Aviv.

Just hours later, 26-year-old Dalia Lemkos hy”d was murdered and two others wounded by a terrorist outside the town of Alon Shvut in Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem. Shocking CCTV footage showed how the terrorist first ran over Lemkos at a bus stop before stabbing her as she lay wounded on the ground.
