Kulanu will not join with any other party in the next election

February 6, 2016

Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon (Kulanu) said during an interview on Saturday night on Israeli TV show “Central Channel” said that he will not be joining any other political faction during the next elections.

This is in spite of recent polls that show that if Kahlon’s Kulanu party joined together with Yair Lapid and (Yesh Atid) as well as Gabi Ashkenazi, the triad would receive 29 seats in the next Knesset. The polls also show that the Kulanu party will lose mandates in the coming election should it run by itself.

According to channel 10 news, Kahlon added that he is “not impressed” with the polls. “Our party was formed to become a nationalist and socially conscientious party’ there is a place for us in the political spectrum,” claimed the Finance Minister. “In the next election we will run alone in order to promote those issues.”

“I am negating all possibilities except for Kulanu running on its own ballot,” he added. “We have wonderful ministers who prove themselves everyday, who are not involved in anything except for the day-to-day work that they have to do.”
