Gaza Rockets Miss the Mark, Explode in Gaza

October 9, 2015

Terrorists from Gaza on Friday evening fired two rockets towards southern Israel.

The rockets, however, missed the mark and exploded on the Gazan side of the border. It is unknown whether there were any injuries or damages.

Rocket attacks on the south have been intermittent over the past few weeks. In an attack earlier this week, a rocket exploded in an open area of the Eshkol Regional Council. There were no physical injuries or damages.

Last week, a rocket was intercepted by the Iron Dome anti-missile system as it was headed towards the city of Ashdod.

On September 21, a rocket that was fired from Gaza exploded in the Hof Ashkelon region of southern Israel.

The rocket exploded in an open region, causing no physical injuries or damages.
