Fast of Tammuz 17
July 22, 2016Irony – we in Israel, this year, read Parshat Pinchas, which contains – among other things – the mitzva of the twice daily offerings in the Beit HaMikdash (the T’midim).
This Shabbat is the 17th of Tammuz (fast postponed to Sunday) which marks – among other things – the cessation of the T’midim.
The show highlights different portions of the sedra and reviews some elements of the fast of the 17th of Tammuz.
