Car attack near Gush Etzion, 5 soldiers wounded
November 27, 2015A Palestinian Arab launched a car attack against Israelis at Bayt Umar junction in southern Gush Etzion Friday, just after 12:30 pm.
Five IDF soldiers in their twenties have been injured in the attack; four are listed in light to moderate condition with wounds to the limbs, one is listed in light condition.
Magen David Adom (MDA) medics who arrived at the scene to treat the wounded were then attacked by Arab rock-throwers.
The wounded have now been transported the injured to Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center and Shaarei Tzedek Hospital for treatment.
Security forces eliminated the terrorist at the scene.
Both sections of Route 60 near Bayt Umar (outgoing and incoming traffic) have been closed off until further notice.
